About the artist:

Michèle is a self-taught artist who lives in Beckenham. Until recently her watercolours were mainly figurative with a special attention to texture. Now she’s producing more abstract work to try to capture a concept or the sense of a place.

 Michèle likes to mix watercolours with other water based media, like gesso or ink, with each new work being a journey of discovery and although watercolours are her passion, she likes to explore other media like textile (particularly in card making) and hand-built ceramics.
